- 27.7.2010 - Hsyco & HWg-STE: temperature and humidity sensors integration
HSYCO is a central home & building management system, which can be controlled from iPhone, iPad, Android Phones or touch display. Integration with I/O Controller devices from HW group enables new applications in smart house management.
 
The HWg-STE is an Ethernet web thermometer configured using a built-in web server and with MS Excel reporting software. If the temperature (humidity) exceeds a specified threshold, an e-mail alert is sent. Up to two temperature/humidity probes can be connected.
HSYCO is central software for Building Automation System. It controls all house infrastructure from one iPhone or iPad (lights, multi-room music & entertainment, bed, temperature, video surveillance and many more).
Using network interfaces (TCP/IP), HSYCO integrates via LAN the HWg-STE temperature and humidity probes, constantly recording and displaying the information on temperature or humidity readings. HSYCO can use this information to control the field systems, nominally HVAC, optimizing the energy consumption and cut the corresponding costs.

- 13.7.2010 - I/O devices for IP CCTV, HWg-Juno, compatible with Omnicast, Genetec’s Video Surveillance Solution
HW group is entering the IP surveillance market with the introduction of HWg-Juno. HWg-Juno is a specialized device for integration of I/O’s into Genetec’s Omnicast. We are thrilled to bring to market HWg-Juno as first dedicated IP I/O device supporting the Genetec Protocol. Now you can simply connect any number of digital inputs & relay outputs to Genetec’s Omnicast system.
Juno product line consists of:
- HWg-Juno 101 with 1 dry contact input and 1 relay output. PoE and 70°C endurance make this ideal outdoor IP I/O device for low count I/O needs.
- HWg-Juno 404 with 4 dry contact input and 4 relay outputs is universal IP I/O device.
- HWg-Juno 1200 with 12 dry contact inputs and PoE is ideal replacement for multi-port I/O, available in past on multiport videoencoders. Typicaly used for security systems alarms integration.
- HWg-Juno 008 with 8 relay outputs and PoE is universal IP control box for low and AC voltage device control. AC voltage device control requires optional PowerEgg accessory.

- 22.6.2010 - HWg-WLD: Water flood detector
HWg-WLD is a network-enabled water leak detector with a water-absorbing sensing cable. HWg-WLD features a built-in web server, SNMP support, and e-mail alerts to flooding. HWg-WLD can remotely control a relay output over the network (a relay is switched when a water leak is detected along the sensing cable).
HWg-WLD detects water leaks or water floods along the entire length of the sensing cable. The sensing cable detects even the smallest volume of water, ethylene glycol, or other conductive liquid. HWg-WLD can be ordered in two versions depending on the supply of power (power adapter or PoE IEEE 802.3af).
HWg-WLD features a built-in web server and SNMP support. In case of an alarm, the device sends an e-mail or SNMP trap.

- 17.6.2010 - Damocles 1208: Remote electricity consumption metering
Damocles 1208 is a cost-effective Ethernet-enabled device with digital inputs (12) and relay outputs (8) accessible over a LAN. Typical applications involve counting pulses from electricity meters, water meters, gas meters etc. User interaction is simplified by the HWg-PDMS application for Windows that counts the pulses, calculates consumption and creates outputs for statistical processing in MS Excel.
Damocles 1208 is a device with general-purpose inputs and outputs. Outputs can be controlled over the Web as well as using M2M protocols for IT (SNMP) or industrial SCADA systems (Modbus/TCP).
Counters at digital (dry contact) inputs allow remote energy (or flow) metering by counting pulses from energy meters. Users can process the data using the free HWg-PDMS utility for Windows. HWg-PDMS can convert pulses to kWh/s (l/s, m3/s) and create MS Excel reports. The protocol then gives a concise overview of kWh consumed per week / month for each electricity meter.

Port Box PL is a serial I/O controller. HWG Damocles I/O Controllers are designed for remote monitoring and controlling of devices by digital inputs and outputs. HWg Poseidon and STE are field sensors for temperature, humidity, pressure and energy consumption sensors.

- 12.4.2010 - IP WatchDog HWg-WR02a: Ping restarter
IP WatchDog WR02a monitors whether a controlled device, or an Internet connection, is “alive”. If the correct reply is not received in time, the controlled device is restarted using a relay, or a back-up connection is activated.
HW group extends the portfolio of IP WatchDog products and introduces an industrial version of IP WatchDog HWg-WR02a – “ping restarter”. This term describes a product designed for monitoring the functionality of another device over IP (PING/WEB) or serial line (RS-232).
IP WatchDog can monitor two devices (two independent channels, two 110/230VAC relays). Industrial applications can benefit from DIN rail mount. Failures are detected with five distinct methods, separately for each channel (Ping Tx/Rx, Web page request/push, RS-232 data).

- 15.3.2010 - HWg-STE PoE: SNMP thermometer
HWg-STE PoE is a web-enabled temperature (humidity) sensor with Power over Ethernet capability (PoE IEEE 802.3af) that simplifies installation. Measured temperature and humidity values are available over SNMP or through central Windows software (available free of charge).
New web thermometer, the HWg-STE PoE, features a built-in web server and SNMP support. The web thermometer can be powered over the Ethernet (PoE), or using the supplied power adaptor. The device comes with the HWg-PDMS software for displaying graphs and exporting data to MS Excel.
HWg-STE supports Nagios, a well-known free SNMP software. The device sends e-mail alerts to excessive temperature or humidity. Free licence of the HWg-PDMS application for displaying graphs is included; reports can be printed from MS Excel.

The Poseidon 4002 is a 19" 1U rack mount system for datacenter temperature and environment monitoring. The Poseidon presents the solution for monitoring of the racks and computer rooms (temperature, humidity, electricity supply, access to the room, detectors). The device alerts by e-mail, SNMP traps, SMS, output relays.
The Poseidon 4002 is a complete system for environment monitoring in a 19" rack, an entire server room or in a datacenter. The 4002 model can be mounted as a 1U device, or outside of the 42U space. 18 sensors are supported (temperature, humidity, smoke, flood, electricity supply status or failure, entry to the room, digital inputs).
The device is SNMP compatible. Two monitoring applications (PD Trigger and HWg-PDMS) are included free of charge.

HWg PDMS is a Windows application, primarily designed for IT environments, that logs temperature, energy consumption, or access to monitored rooms. Up to 100 input devices can be connected over a network. The application can display a graphical summary and generate MS Excel reports.
HW group develops products for monitoring the environment (temperature, humidity, energy consumption, and so on). The HWg-PDMS application (Poseidon Damocles Monitoring Software) is designed for collecting and monitoring the measured data.

- 23.7.2009 - HWg STE: Ethernet thermometer (hygrometer) with SNMP and WEB interfaces.
HWg STE alerts by e-mail to temperatures outside of a safe range. Supplied with a power adapter and one temperature sensor, another temperature/humidity sensor can be connected.
HW group presents HWg STE, IP network thermometer with a built-in web interface. HWg STE sends e-mail alerts if the temperature exceeds a specified limit.
Using SNMP, the HWg-STE can be connected to a NMS (Network Management System). HWg STE represents effective and economic solutions in the applications like air-conditioning failure, heating system monitoring, cooler/freezer monitoring, heating optimization and food storage.

“ATEAS Security System and HW group have interconnected ATEAS, the IP surveillance system, with external sensors using the Poseidon product.
Interconnection of an IP camera system with external infrastructure increases operator comfort as well as overall security.
The cameras can now automatically point to a spot where a sensor has detected possible intrusion. The resulting solution enables automatic control of the IP video surveillance system using sensors and peripherals connected to Poseidon products.
Integration of both products brings the customers an added value of connecting their surveillance systems to a range of outdoor sensors. Thanks to native sensor support in the ATEAS system, integration is very easy and the solution also saves costs.

- 19.11.2008 - HWg-Tg11: GSM Thermometer with E-mail and Logging
“Tg11” is a GSM thermometer with alerting over SMS and e-mail. Tg11 logs the temperature in its internal Flash memory (every 15 minutes) and e-mails stored data (every 4 hours) over GPRS.
HW group s.r.o., a Czech Republic based manufacturer, introduces a new product to the market, the HWg-Tg11. This GSM thermometer with temperature logging into its internal flash is intended for temperature monitoring in remote locations. A unique feature of the product is the transmission of alert messages as well as of measured data by e-mail over GPRS.
Tg11 is intended, for instance, for small plants or warehouses. Over time, the product stores temperatures in a central system; in addition, it sends a SMS or dials a call to the responsible manager if the temperature exceeds a defined range.

PortStore4 is a unit for collecting call accounting data from an analog or IP-based private branch exchange (PBX). Over the network, you can easily find out how long the phones ring at the branch, get a list of calls, or configure the PBX.
HW group s.r.o., a Czech Republic based manufacturer of data collection products, introduces a new version of its PortStore product. The new PortStore4 is designed for use with VoIP and analog private branch exchanges.
PortStore4 connects to a PBX, stores data in the built-in Flash memory, and ensures secure transfer of call accounting data to a designated server. The solution includes a Windows tool that stores the data to text files for future analysis in special software.

- 1.7.2008 - Ethernet-Controlled Relay: Control 230V / 16A over IP
HWg-ER02a IP Relay is a RS-232 / RS-485 serial line converter with two 230V-rated SPDT relays. The contacts and the serial line can be controlled using the HW VSP (virtual serial port) software, or via the documented M2M protocol. Easily attaches to a suitable panel or a DIN rail.
HW group s.r.o., a Czech Republic based manufacturer of remote control devices, introduces a new version of the popular IP Relay product. The new ER02a can be mounted on a DIN rail, a panel, or a wall. A key feature is the ability to switch 230VAC mains voltage, up to 16A, with two independent relays.

23.4.2008 - PD Trigger: SNMP trap activates outputs, sends SMS
PD Trigger is a Windows application that reacts to SNMP traps with alarm alerts. Alarm reactions are configured similarly to e-mail processing rules. Available actions include displaying a pop-up, launching applications, activating outputs, and sending text messages over a GSM modem.
With PD Trigger, users can avoid the deployment of a complex SNMP NMS, if all they need are simple reactions to received alarms. A limited version supports up to 5 rules and is available free of charge at the HW group website. Commercial versions work with up to 100 rules.
