PortStore4
PortStore4 is an efficient solution for monitoring a private branch exchange (PBX) and collecting call accounting data. Received CDR/SMDR data can be easily and securely sent by encrypted e-mail or via FTP to a central site for analysis.
PortStore4 is solution for analog even VoIP telephony. It can grab call acounting data (CDR/SMDR) from old analog PBX via serial port, even from Trixbox or Asterisk PBX via IP.
- Data can be retrieved from the buffer using the supplied software, or via standard FTP.
- The second serial port can be used as a Virtual Serial Port for remote administration of the PBX.

Basic features

Typical applications
- PBX/iPBX: Connect all PBXs in your offices to the Internet via PS4 and analyze telephone calls with any call accounting software (CDR/SMDR/CIL log analysis).
You can connect both analog and VoIP exchanges to form a single, comprehensive solution.
- PBX/iPBX: Outsource your call accounting and analysis to a specialized service provider. The necessary security level is supported.

- Analog PBX with RS-232: Connect your existing analog PBX to PS4 and send the data through a virtual serial port (e.g. COM7) to your current call accounting software. You do not need to change anything else in your setup.
- Serial printer replacement: Connect PortStore4 to a serial printer, or replace a printer. Have a safe backup of your printed data regularly e-mailed to you.

Q: I need a higher level of security. How can I achieve it? A: We are working on an extension to PortStore4, please contact us with your questions.
Q: Does PS4 support my PBX over IP? A: Check whether your IP PBX can send call accounting data over Telnet, serial port, or TFTP. If it can, PortStore4 can CDR / SMDR read the data from your PBX.
Q: Is it possible to use the second serial port as another data buffer? A: No. PortStore4 supports only one buffer for input data. The second serial port can only be used for remote access to PBX configuration.
