Der Poseidon 3468 wurde für Industrieanwendungen entwickelt, wo es notwendig ist, basierend auf Sensorwerten, Alarme zu schicken oder Ausgänge zu schalten. Die Relais-Ausgänge können direkt 110/230V Wechselspannung schalten. Jeder Sensorwert, der außerhalb des definierbaren gültigen Bereichs liegt, kann einen E-Mail Alarm oder SNMP-Trap anstoßen. Es können jeweils verschiedene gültige Bereiche für Temperatur, Luftfeuchtigkeit oder potfreie Eingänge definiert werden. Der Poseidon sendet eine Email oder einen SNMP-Trap wenn ein Eingangskontakt schließt. Der Alarm kann für eine definierbare Zeit verzögert werden (z.B. ein Alarm wird erst dann gesendet, wenn eine Rack-Tür mehr als 5 Minuten offen steht). Beide Relais-Ausgänge können auch aus der Ferne über das Webinterface des Poseidon oder aus einer Software-Applikation heraus (XML, SNMP) gesteuert werden. Eine typische Anwendung ist als „IP Thermostat“ oder als „IP Hygrostat“. Die Relais steuern dabei eine Heizung oder Kühlung über einen Temperatur- oder Luftfeuchtigkeitsfühler. Die Relais-Ausgänge können auch per Webinterface aus der Ferne gesteuert werden.

1-Wire sensors

• Total bus length max 60 m
• Each sensor has its own SafeRange. When the range is exceeded (alarm), e-mail or SNMP trap is invoked.

IP thermostat = output control

Each relay output can be controlled either by a local condition, or manually:

• Over WWW by the user
• M2M XML protocol
• M2M SNMP protocol
• M2M Modbus/TCP protocol

The local condition mode works as a thermostat or hygrostat over IP. The output can be tied to any connected sensor, including dry contact inputs. The control is affected by sensor hysteresis.

PD Trigger application example

• In case of air conditioning failure in server room A, send a SMS to Peter
• In case of alarm in server room B, send e-mail to Tom
