HWg-Tg11: GSM temperature datalogger
GSM thermometer with temperature logging and alerting over SMS and e-mail (GPRS). In addition, Tg11 works as a temperature logger - it stores temperature values in its internal Flash memory (every 15 minutes) and e-mails stored data (every 4 hours) over GPRS.
| HWg-Tg11 GSM temperature datalogger is an effective solution for reporting temperature alerts and temperature logging in remote places or in vehicles.
Temperature sensor in stainless-steel housing is connected with a 3m silicon cable and measures temperatures from ‑30°C to +125°C.
- When the temperature leaves a defined safe range, Tg11 rings a preset number and sends a warning SMS.
- Temperature readings are logged every 15 minutes. The entire log is e-mailed over GPRS every 4 hours.
- Tg11 cooperates with the SensDesk web portal. Past values and alert responses are archived on a central server. Connection to the SensDesk portal is available as a subscription-based service.
- The status of Tg11 can be verified by ringing its number or sending a SMS. The device replies with a status SMS.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Will Tg11 temperature logger work without GPRS?
Yes, HWg-Tg11 can log values and send alerts by SMS. However, transfer of logged data and time synchronization require GPRS.
- How many records fit in the memory?
Data are e-mailed periodically; still, the internal memory can contain several months of recorded data.
- What is the maximum distance between the sensor and the device?
The stainless-steel temperature sensor is supplied with a 3m cable.
- Is it possible to connect an external GSM antenna to Tg11 GSM datalogger?
Yes, Tg11 is supplied with a whip antenna, which can be replaced with any other GSM antenna.
- Does Tg11 temp logger work without GSM coverage?
Yes; however, it is limited to offline operation. Readings are logged into the internal memory and data are sent as soon as the coverage is restored.
- Does HWg-Tg11 work outside of its home GSM network?
Yes, Tg11 is a standard GSM device that supports roaming. It is possible to disable log e-mailing outside of the home network to reduce costs.
- Warranty?
The standard warranty is 2 years.
