x51 MCU products

Development products with a 8051-based microcontroller. We recommend to use our ready-made applications, such as the Terminal server.
Products can be programmed in assembler or in C; however, in C, only UDP communication is supported and there is no RTOS (Real Time Operating System) support.

• Charon 1 module – Module only
  Embedded serial port to Ethernet converter (RS-232 / TCP/IP), 8 I/O pins controlled over TCP.
• Charon 1 module – Development Kit
  Development kit for the Charon I module. The module itself is included.
  Contents: 1x Charon 1 module, development board with RS-232 and Ethernet, cables, documentation.
• Charon I E module – Module with a RJ45 socket
  Charon I E is identical to Charon I, except for an additional RJ45 connector to connect the Ethernet. The "E" version is not usually kept in stock, so the lead time may be long.
  
• Web51 – Design KIT + SUPPORT
• Full development version – ASM sources, HW KIT, software + support
• Web51-C
  Web51-C is a development kit for embedded Ethernet UDP and SNMP applications, based on the 8051 microcontroller family. It should be compiled with SDCC or Keil uC51.
  The development kit includes the hardware, CD with source codes and examples.

AVR MCU products

Development products with an Atmel AVR based microcontroller. C is supported. Development kit examples use Nut RTOS (Real Time Operating System) and the TCP stack from the Ethernut project.

• Charon 2 module 
  Embedded module with an ATmega CPU. Compatible with the Ethernut project.

• Charon 2 – Development Kit
  Complete development environment for the Charon 2 module and the Ethernut project. Supplied as a complete development kit with a small HW STK500 programmer, LCD, 1-Wire thermometer, etc.).
  
• SP Duo
  Recommended accessory to the Charon 2 DK set - ATmega programmer working over RS-232 using SPI or JTAG interfaces. Supported by all recent versions of AVR Studio.
  
• Hyperion Unit [600073]
  Charon 2 based hardware unit in a metal box. Intended for customers that want to buy a ready-made HW and develop their own SW. The price includes: Charon 2 module, "Hyperion" mainboard, metal case.

	EZL-90 [600 131] Development kit for EZL-80c. Contains a power supply and a TTL RS-232 converter. A CF card is not included.
	EZL-300W [600 135] RS-232 to WiFi 802.11b wireless Ethernet converter (internal PCMCIA WiFi LAN card included). Compared to the Lite version, the EZL-300W full version supports EAP-MD5 encryption and remote Telnet mode.
	EZL-300W Lite [600 136] RS-232 to WiFi 802.11b wireless Ethernet converter (internal PCMCIA WiFi LAN card included). EZL-300W Lite does not support EAP-MD5 encryption nor the remote Telnet mode.
	EZL-300S [600 137] RS-232 / RS-422 / RS-485 to WiFi 802.11b wireless Ethernet converter (PCMCIA WiFi LAN card included). Supports TFTP, SSL and Virtual Serial Port.
	CF WLAN card [600 132] WLAN Compact Flash card, tested with EZL-80C and EZL-90 products. The card does not have an external antenna input.
	PCMCIA WLAN card [600 134] WLAN PCMCIA card, tested with EZL-80, EZL-300W a EZL-300W Lite. Equipped with an external antenna connector (MMCX).
