Damocles – line of products

Remote digital inputs and outputs controlled over the network. All products support WEB and XML, some support SNMP and Modbus/TCP. Damocles can count pulses on a digital input, or inform about a contact being closed by sending an e-mail, SNMP trap, or a text message (SMS).

  Remote serial RS-232 port with 2 output relays, DIN rail mountable housing. Can be used as a remote serial port with additional relay outputs. Supports TCP Client/Server mode. Simply control serial port and two relays through Telnet.

• PortBox
  Converts a RS-232 or RS-485 line to Ethernet, using TCP/IP and UDP/IP. The remote serial port can be mapped as COM7 in Windows using the HW VSP (Virtual Serial Port) utility. PortBox includes 9-bit data transfer extensions and supports a request-response type of communication over RS-485.
  

• OI232 – RS-232 Optical Isolator
  RS-232 electrical isolation unit. Power is connected to a terminal block, or drawn from one of the RS-232 ports (intended for our RS-232 devices with power-boosted serial ports).
