PortStore Eye (PS Eye)
PS Eye is an application for collecting and storing not only CDR data from PortStore units. Program is free for collecting data from three devices, paid version supports up to 64 data sources (IP addresses).

Program is free for collecting data from three devices, paid version supports up to 64 data sources (IP addresses).
Goal of connecting PortStore and PS Eye application is to get CMDR/CDR data from IP or serial port (RS-232) to text files, which are processed by another application.
Data from PortStore2 or PortStore4 devices are downloaded in different ways (TCP Client / Server, FTP, Email) and are stored to files for processing in another application.
Basic features

graphical environment for Windows 2000/XP/Vista and 2000/2003 Server.
- PS Eye contains a guide for setting the communication channel.
- PS Eye reads data in different ways (TCP Client / Server, FTP, Email)
- Data are safely stored, even if it is not possible to write to the output TXT file. File can be blocked by another application
- Works as a service (NT service), supports Windows 2000/XP/Vista and 2000/2003 Server

Eye runs as an application on the server, in certain intervals it downloads data from
Private Branch Exchange (PBX) from all branches within the company.
Usage examples
- Downloading the tariff data (CDR/ CMDR) from PBX
- Downloading data from security system centrals (ESS) - PortStore connected
as a RS-232 printer
- Downloading data from fire system central (FAS) PortStore connected
as a RS-232 printer
- Paralel and independent data reading from serial printers.
The operating elements description
The program displays the actual state, quantity of downloaded data.

- Channel Name - Name of the channel (locality or name of the data source)
- Status - Actual state of the channel
- Device - IP address and port of the device connected in the channel
- Next Due - When next time will be data downloaded / extracted
- Last Download - Last data downloading
- Data File - Clickable link to last downloaded data
- Install Wizard - wizard for adding a channel
Right click menu
- Add Channel - adding and configuration of a new channel
- Activate / Deactivate Channel -
Temporary turns off the channel
- State (it is shown by the icon in front of the channel name)
- Download Now - starts immediate data downloading from a channel, independent of a timer
- Disconnect - Disconnects currently connected device suspends current downloading
- Show Data File - Opens a file with data downloaded from a channel
- Properties - Detailed channel setting
Installation wizard
Installation wizard for new data channel.

- detects device on specified IP address
- recognize a type and device configuration
- Creates a new channel including configuration for data downloading from the device.
Channel setting
- Channel Name - Name of the channel (locality or name of the data source)
- Device - setting details about the device
- Storage Method - Setting the path and name of created files with data downloaded from the channel
- Other Settings
- Log Enable - enables saving all system information to LOG
- Activate Automatically - starts downloading from the channel after PS Eye program is launched

Data Transfer Mode - data download mode selection
We recommend to use wizard for creating a new channel.

- Keep Connection - prolongation of TCP connection with PortStore2
- Passive FTP - Requires passive FTP mode
