• How does it work:
  When a button connected to input XX is pressed, Poseidon sends a SNMP trap to output XX. Since the same "#01" string is specified in the text name of the input and of the output, Damocles sets the output Y according to the input Y.

Testing the function

1. Turn both devices off, and then back on.
   No LEDs will be lit on the Damocles.
2. On the Poseidon, close input 1 (a paper clip will work fine).
   Damocles reacts by closing output 2.

Note: In the Box-2-Box mode, SNMP traps only notify about changes. If you close the input before the Damocles is turned on, the state is not reflected.

Tips

1. The link identifier, "#xx", must contain exactly two digits.
   #xx can be located anywhere in the name of the input or the output but it must not follow a space.
2. An Input can control several units at once. The limit is the number of SNMP trap destinations (2 or 4).
3. One input can control multiple outputs within a single output device.
   Assign the same link identifier to the outputs.
4. The value of the input can be negated.
   If you use an exclamation mark operator (!) instead of the hash operator (#), the output will be inverted.
5. Physical order of inputs and outputs is not important.
   Input1 can control Output8 and so on. It is only important to use the same link identifier.

Note: We recommend to use only US-ASCII characters in input and output names.

Technical description

• Power consumption is measured by ABB DHM13007 and DBM23000 M-Bus digital power meters.
• One phase ABB ODIN single power meters are connected through the OA1408 serial to M-Bus converter.
• Each electricity meter provides voltage, current, power factor, energy, kWh and other available values.
  All values are readable via SNMP, Modbus/TCP, XML and other protocols.
• Electricity meters are connected by M-Bus to HWg-PWR 25 (smart M-Bus to LAN gateway).
• Autodetection can identify connected M-Bus meters.
• All M-Bus meters are powered from the HWg-PWR 25 device.
• The HWg-PWR smart M-Bus to ethernet gateway sends an alarm in the event of failure or value out of a specified range (E-mail, SNMP Trap, SMS over SMS GW).
• You can connect an external SMS Gateway for simple SMS alerting without any software.
• PDMS can export energy consumption to MS Excel even for every single minute.

• HWg-PWR 3/12/25 gateway can be connected to the PDMS software directly over LAN or by email.
• Variables can be analyzed in the HWg-PDMS software.
• Graphs can be viewed directly in HWg-PDMS.

• Measurements can be imported to MS Excel for further processing.
